Columbia County Recovery Kitchen, Hudson, NY

Columbia County Recovery Kitchen’s (CCRK) mission is to prepare and deliver nutrient-rich, balanced meals to vulnerable adults and children. Clients are referred by county social service organizations, public school social workers and the Columbia County Sanctuary Movement. Chef Tommy Carlucci manages 15 volunteer cooks who prepare 1,100 meals each and every week. These passionate cooks (and compassionate, generous people) prepare from scratch and package meals, which are then delivered by volunteer drivers in 24 towns, as well as the city of Hudson. The Christ Church Episcopal (Jamison Teale, Vestry Liaison) graciously loans out its kitchen, which is instrumental in CCRK’s ongoing efforts. Funding comes from a community of supporters through fundraisers, social media and direct donations. Various institutions have awarded grants to this impactful organization including: Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, Hudson River Bank and Trust Foundation. FeedHV has worked with CCRK since February 2021 and appreciates the opportunity to continue supporting their amazing work.
