Our Core is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving marginalized youth in Newburgh, New York. Our mission is to empower marginalized young people to uplift themselves and others through experiential and academic education. Its three key programs are Girls to Ladies, Funding Academics and the AgriCultural Education program. Girls to Ladies is a character and life-skill development group for teen girls in which members learn and grow through collaborative problem solving and community service. Funding Academics provides financial assistance to support students who contribute positively to our community. The AgriCultural Education program seeks to lead students toward food and land sovereignty, introducing them to food growing and earth stewarding through after school programming and farming internships.
