Founded by Prabhuji in 2007 in NYC, the Prabhuji Food Distribution Program operates with the objective to help children, adults and seniors who are in need of nutritious food and assist them in their daily struggle against food insecurity. The Program has been serving the Great Capital Region NY area since 2014 through two complementary programs: a Food Rescue Program and a Food Pantry. We strive to reduce food waste, promote sustainable agriculture, protect the environment and improve the health and well-being of the general public. We do this by providing free, healthy, nutritious groceries to communities that need them most. We serve families and individuals without discrimination of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, national origin or socio-economic status. The Prabhuji Food Distribution Program also supports various local food pantries, providing them with nutritious groceries on a weekly basis.
